The book is about the different paths we can take while we are on our journey. The different chapters address life and how we live it; our human nature and divine nature. Some of the essays are about blooming Spiritually, the rules of life, life as a game or a gamble, getting ready for our paths and stepping on to them.

In the book you will find many encouraging words about different paths and the rewards and challenges that come with them. Although I do write about the New Thought Path, I do not write about the major paths of Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, or Judaism; but rather those paths that we can be drawn to for an hour, a day, a month or a lifetime that are in service to our humanity and Spirit. You will find that paths do not have to be organized or supervised, but they must be approached with consciousness and intent and contribute to our lives, and the life of the world.

The goal of my book is to, in some way, touch those who have not yet found a path or those who may be looking but do not know what they are looking for – those who may be wondering about life and God as I was, and still do. If you are at a place and time in your life where you are wondering or feel as though something is missing, this book may be for you. It is written for the “beginners mind.” The short easy to read essays, poems and inspiring quotes are meant to send your mind off into wonderful directions, and your life on amazing paths that allow you to grow and blossom, and be the divine person you were meant to be.

The wonderful art work of the fish on the cover and inside the book is by artist Diane Stewart. Diane and I chose fish because in one way we are like fish. Fish swim in an ocean of water and ask “What is water?” We swim in an ocean of God and ask “What is God?”

There are 53 inspiring essays and 16 original poems about Love, Law, Beauty, Spirit, Soul, Waking Up, and Eternity.

Reverend Robert W. Mitchell is an ordained (2006) Religious Science Minister with the Centers for Spiritual Living. Religious Science was founded in 1927 by Ernest Holmes and is part of the spiritual and metaphysical religious movement within the New Thought Movement.
